Many of us are finding families increasingly declining important health measures for their newborn, and also implementing various birth practices not supported by science.
Influenced by a media session at the AAP Annual Leadership Forum this past March, Drs. Lisa Stellwagen and Michelle Dern worked with colleagues on this handout which can be used to encourage families to educate themselves about various health practices before giving birth. Feel free to share widely with your obstetric and pediatric colleagues.
