is a Project Specialist for the chapter and provides support to the accounting and finance functions for Healthy Development Services and First 5 First Steps. Sara has helped managed over $6,000,000 for these programs. She has been with the AAP-CA3 since 2006. Sara is a native Californian and has worked in the not for profit community in San Diego as a Project Coordinator and Project Specialist for the last 11 years. She received a BA in Sociology from the University of California Santa Barbara. Sara developed a strong sense of devotion for working on behalf of children as an Instructional Aide in a Poway Unified School District Special Education preschool program nearly 13 years ago. This experience gave her a deep appreciation for improving the lives of children and families with specials needs.
