Megan Gietzen, MPH

is a Quality Assurance & Contract Specialist for the First 5 First Steps (F5FS) family support program. Megan holds a Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota in Public Health with an emphasis in Community Health Promotion. Prior to joining the F5FS team, Megan led and supported a variety of community-focused projects to improve child and adult health including farm to school efforts, supporting facilitation of the San Diego County Childhood Obesity Initiative, and developing curriculum on tobacco cessation for mental health providers. She is passionate about supporting quality programs that promote health and improve access to opportunities for all communities and particularly vulnerable populations. Megan joined the chapter in 2020 to support contract compliance and quality assurance and has experience with federal, state, and local contract management.
