Salary Range:      $31.79 to $36.56 (Hourly Wage)

Location:            San Diego County, Hybrid

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Specialist opening is with the Home Visiting Department, supporting a Public Health Nursing grant to train County nurses in the Healthy Families America model.  The AAP-CA3 project team works closely with the County of San Diego, First 5 California, and First 5 San Diego to develop an efficient and coordinated countywide system for connecting families with children under the age of 5 with needed health and developmental support services.  The Senior Project Specialist supports the AAP-CA3 project team, Chapter members, and community partner staff.  This position partners with the Project Director and Associate Project Director to deliver project objectives.

The Probation Medical Director plays a pivotal role in the medical management team, spearheading the Justice-Involved California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) program. This initiative targets individuals with a history of incarceration, who face elevated risks of harm. California’s groundbreaking approval on January 26, 2023, allows Medicaid services to be extended to aid in their transition back into society. AAP-CA3 Advocacy Manager, Strategic Behavioral Health Initiative Project (Project Manager) Opening

AAP-CA3 is looking for a self-starting, enthusiastic leader established in the San Diego area non-profit and public health sector to join our cohesive and caring team. The Advocacy Manager will identify gaps in services to advocate for and directly implement the Strategic Behavioral Health Initiative (SBHI) county-wide and oversee the project team to meet grant deliverables. This full-time position is grant-based.
